I leave for Milledgeville, Georgia, home of Flannery O’Connor early tomorrow morning. On Thursday night, Geoffrey Becker, the other FOC recipient, and I read from our collections at Georgia College and State University in the Arts and Sciences Auditorium. On Friday, I go to Atlanta, where I read at Charis Books at 8 PM. I’m very excited, my enthusiasm tempered only slightly by this terrible cold that I can’t seem to shake.
